Health 2018

In this presentation I was able to answer the questions as well as learn what Physical well being, Mental and emotional well being, social well being and spiritual well being meant. I enjoyed being able to express myself and share all about my well being, as well as my beliefs. To be able to complete this task, I shared everything about myself, what I love doing and what I believe in. I found answering some of the questions challenging because I have never been so open with others about myself and what I do to maintain the healthiness in my body, but I was able to do this because I was able to think it through and knew that what people do for their bodies to keep it clean and healthy is not wrong. I want to share my knowledge on Hauora and Well being to people and let everyone know that keeping your body healthy and clean is very important for your health and other peoples health.

Should Facebook be banned in schools?

My Perspective:

I think Facebook should be banned because its a distraction to the students education and their learning and can affect their education.

Baskal's Perspective:

She thinks that Facebook shouldn't be banned because students can use it to contact their family if they have no more credits left or to post their success during school.

Tele's Perspective:

She thinks that Facebook shouldn't be banned because students might not have Wi-Fi at home but can use the school's Wi-Fi.

Social Studies

My teacher for Social Studies is Miss T, our class is W1 and we are learning about culture and identity also myths and legends. We also created a presentation in our groups and presented them.

I love my social studies classroom and also the teacher. I look forward to learning more!!

My science teacher for this year is Mr Lawrence. We are doing experiments and writing down reports, graphs and results. What I have learnt new so far, is plotting cm results into graphs

I enjoy going to science class and learning new things and more!!

Maths 2018 T1

Maths

My Math teachers name for this year (2018) is Mrs Hooks and our class/block is C2.  What we are working on this term is patterns in numbers. Also using the math sites which are mathletics and perfect education.

I enjoy going to my Math class, and learning new strategies and more.

English:

English is one of my many classes that I attend this year. I've learnt how to write a letter introducing myself so far, and what I want to become in the future. 

I've also been doing sentences starting with the same letter. My goal for English class is to be successful by learning what has been taught to me and by memorizing what I've learnt.

I look forward to being in English class next year and can't wait to see what I will be learning next year.

Introduction About Myself!

Hi, my name is Rosita and I am a student at Papakura High school and currently enjoying my education at this school. I am 13 turning 14 and I am in year 9. 

My goals and aim for this year is to get to know everyone, participate in school activities and to learn different and new things. I want to get good marks in all my classes and hopefully get some points/credits during my stay here at Papakura high school. 

I am the 4th child out of 5 and also the only girl. My 3 older brothers attended this school and are doing good in life.
